“CONSISTENT CONTENT IS THE NEW KING”

A few years ago, Bill Gates famously stated, “Content is king.” At that time, it was clear that content was not only a fundamental pillar of a business strategy but was also considered the most important aspect. However, over time, things have changed. Today, content is so abundant that it sometimes becomes repetitive and boring, to the point where it seems like a mere copy and paste of what already exists.

Recently, one of my best friends, Josué Sención (Josh), creator of the agency dply, shared a message on his social media, stating that content must be consistent. My immediate response to his post was to quote Bill Gates again: “Content is king.” In our exchange, Josh emphasized the importance of consistency in content, and rightfully so.

In a hyper-globalized world, saturated with information and intense market competition, what can truly make you stand out is having consistent content at the core of your strategy. This means that, in addition to being constantly present, your content must be uniform, creatively driven, and, most importantly, instantly recognizable as yours. It is essential that your content always reflects your philosophy, values, and identity.

In this brief exchange of ideas, we reached a new conclusion: “Consistent content is the new king.”
